After a horrible ER visit the day before, I don't remember anything from the 23rd. I only have records of texts from my mom. I know I went to the ER around 11pm. I went to Good Samaritan hospital this time, which turned out to be the absolute best.
During this time, my parents (who are divorced) got on a flight to California.
At the hospital, I got an IV right away as well as an MRI and a CAT scan. I was admitted into the ICU. We had an incredible neurologist who called right away that it was ADEM. They explained that the first treatment they wanted to try was called Plasmapheresis, where they would exchange my plasma with healthy plasma. They would do 7 rounds and then reassess.
And thus the road began, it would be a long and hard road, but at least I was in a good hospital.
