Welcome to Tori vs. ADEM: A Challenger Approaches Blog!

On December 23rd, 2024, I was admitted to a a hospital for altered mental state and symptoms of a virus. I was then diagnosed with a rare condition called ADEM (accute disseminated encephalomyelitis) and began treatment. After 5 weeks in a hospital across the country, I finally made it home. This blog is a space for me to share my journey, raise awareness about ADEM, and connect with others going through similar experiences. Join me as I document my challenges, victories, and everything in between. Together, we can navigate the complexities of living with ADEM and find strength in our shared stories.
